Grace had returned to Wichita to attend her grandfather’s funeral, only to lose her life in the crash. The shock and grief that followed this tragedy rippled through the city, touching the lives of all who knew the victims. For Jonathan, a Subaru of Wichita employee who knew Grace and her family well, the impact was deeply personal. He and his family had shared countless Sundays in church with Grace’s family, praying, supporting, and celebrating life’s milestones. But now, the unthinkable had occurred—Grace’s family would need to fly to Washington to identify her among the wreckage of the flight. This unimaginable tragedy left the entire city mourning, but it also sparked something truly remarkable—a wave of support for the grieving families. In the wake of the crash, the Wichita Foundation established the ICT Together Fund, a charitable initiative designed to provide financial assistance to the families affected by the crash. The need was immediate, and the people of Wichita, including local businesses, stepped up to help. As a member of the Wichita community, Subaru of Wichita felt compelled to offer more than just thoughts and prayers. Our team at Subaru knew we had to do something tangible to support the victims’ families during this difficult time.
