Kansas Humane Society
Subaru of Wichita is proud to support the Kansas Humane Society through our year-round Su-Paw-Star program, where we sponsor up to three pet adoptions each month—helping local pets find loving homes. These featured adoptions are shared on KHS’s social media, giving extra exposure to pets in need. Every October, we deepen our commitment during Subaru Loves Pets month by sponsoring even more adoptions and partnering with KHS on special events that vary each year. Together, we’re driving change for Wichita’s four-legged friends.
Wichita’s Littlest Heroes
As part of Subaru’s annual Share the Love event, Subaru of Wichita is honored to support Wichita’s Littlest Heroes—an incredible organization serving children with life-threatening medical conditions. From November through January, new car buyers can choose WLH as their hometown charity to receive a donation from both Subaru of Wichita and Subaru of America. During the 2024–2025 campaign, our community’s generosity helped raise over $25,000 for WLH, directly supporting local families in need. It’s our way of driving hope where it’s needed most.
Genesis Foundation for Fitness and Tennis
As a selected hometown charity for Subaru’s Share the Love event, the Genesis Foundation for Fitness and Tennis empowers youth through health, wellness, and athletic opportunities. From November to January, Subaru of Wichita proudly offered our customers the chance to direct a donation to this impactful local organization. During the 2024–2025 campaign, our community raised over $15,000 to help support their mission of building stronger, healthier futures for Wichita’s kids—on and off the court.
Rainbows United, Inc
Rainbows United, Inc. serves children with special needs and their families by providing early intervention, therapies, and educational services across south-central Kansas. Their work ensures that every child—regardless of ability—has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. With a focus on compassion and individualized support, Rainbows United helps families navigate complex challenges while creating brighter futures for children in our community.
HumanKind Ministries
Each winter, Subaru of Wichita partners with HumanKind Ministries during Subaru Loves to Help, an initiative focused on supporting those experiencing homelessness and hardship. Through our collaboration with Operation Warm, we donate brand-new coats to HumanKind, helping keep children and families in our community warm during the coldest months. It’s a simple but powerful way we show love and care to those who need it most.
KU Wichita Pediatrics
During Subaru’s Loves to Care initiative, Subaru of Wichita collaborates with KU Wichita Pediatrics to bring comfort and joy to young patients facing serious illnesses. In partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, cozy blankets and engaging arts and crafts supplies are donated to children receiving care at KU Wichita Pediatrics. This effort aims to provide warmth and creative distraction during challenging times, reflecting our commitment to supporting the well-being of children in our community.
